Getting Started

Seeking help is both a simple and courageous act that supports one's need for expression. There are times that we need to connect with someone; to feel heard, to feel respected and to be validated. However it is normal to have mixed feelings about asking for help. You may feel embarrassed, unsure of how to proceed or how to find a good therapist. You may feel afraid of the unknown, or uncertain about what therapy can offer you.


Coming in for an evaluation period of 1-3 sessions may help you make the decision whether therapy is right for you and if I am the therapist that may be able to help you.


If you are interested in arranging an appointment for a consultation, please telephone me at 650-603-0625. We will first conduct a free 15-20 minute consultation call, in which we will discuss your reason for coming to therapy, answer any questions you have, and we will schedule your first appointment.


For individual therapy, please download and read the “Consent to Treatment” and “Privacy Practices.” Download and sign “Acknowledgement of Receipt of Opening Documents” form and download and fill out "Individual Client Intake Form" prior to your first session. 

For couple therapy, please download and read "Consent to Treatment," "Notice of Privacy Practices." Download and complete 1 copy of "Couple Intake Form."  Sign “Acknowledgement of Receipt of Opening Documents” form for each couple member.

To save time at our initial meeting, please bring the completed forms with you to your first session.
