Let's Start with a Consultation Call

Seeking help is both a simple and courageous act that supports one's need for expression. However it is normal to have mixed feelings about asking for help. You may feel embarrassed, unsure of how to proceed or how to find a good therapist. You may feel afraid of the unknown, or uncertain about what therapy can offer you. A consultation call might help allay some of your concerns.

If you are interested in arranging an appointment for a free
15–20 minute consultation, please text or phone me at
650-603-0625. We will discuss your reasons for coming to therapy, I'll answer any questions you have, and perhaps we can schedule your first session.

The First Few Sessions

Coming in for an evaluation period of 1-3 sessions may help you make the decision whether therapy is right for you and if I am the therapist that may be able to help you. If we are not a good fit, I will be happy to provide assistance to find an alternative therapist.

Appointments & Fees

Consistency is vital for you to get the most out of therapy.
I meet with individual clients a minimum of 1x per week for 50 minutes each session. The base rate for individuals is $175. If more frequent sessions per week would be beneficial, we can discuss a workable fee structure.

I typically meet with couples 1x per week for 60 minutes with a base rate of $190 per session. For couples, it is possible to arrange less frequent meetings, with longer times per session.

Good Faith Estimate Request

After scheduling an initial appointment, you may request from me a Good Faith Estimate document, which puts into writing cost of sessions, frequency of sessions, and duration of treatment.

Appointment Cancellations

Continuity is important in the therapeutic process, but if you need to cancel an appointment, please contact me at least 48 hours prior to the session or you will be responsible for paying for the missed session.
